    Directions:

      In saucepan cook macaroni.
    2. 2
      drain and pour into a large bowl.
    3. 3
      In pan add butter, flour, milk.
    4. 4
      Cook and stir until it becomes thick and bubbly.

      Add cheese and onions.
    6. 6
      Cook until cheese melts.
    7. 7
      Mix cheese with macaroni.
    8. 8
      Pour into a greased baking dish.
    9. 9
      sprinkle crumbs on top.

      Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

      Tried this, but used half cheddar, half mozarella. Came out delicious!

      I sauteed the onions before throwing them in with the macaroni and I also threw in a 14 oz can of stewed tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Everyone loved it!
