I made these for myself and two friends, and we all loved them. I liked them best with the sauce, BF without. I love pesto, and never would have thought to try it with roast beef. Thanks!

Very good! I even added some roasted red bell peppers to my DH's and mine! Lovely!

These were just as awesome as Faith told us they were! I did have to sub a bit. DH came home from the store with DRIED basil, not fresh! So I ended up using what I had, which was cilantro. I know we'll all like it better with the basil pesto but this was still very good. I didn't want to make spaghetti sauce & pesto so we dipped it in horseradish & it was excellent. Thanks for sharing, Karen! Made & enjoyed for the cookathon. :)

I used butter flavored spray on the bread and did it in my panini pan. It's full of flavours. Yummy. Thanks Karen. Made for your cook-a-thon

Delicious! I am not a fan of pesto either but had some given to me. DH loved this panini, I was very pleasantly surprized, it was very flavourful and I would not hesitate to make them again. I used becel margarine instead of butter and used a mix of shredded cheese. Served with salad on the side and cooked on the grill. Thanks for posting.

This recipe rocks karen. I made one for lunch and it was so good. The only thing I did different was use olive oil and used a arrabbiata pesto. Our son then came home and said what did you make? lol I made him one and he goes "this is good mom" he said can we have these for dinner? I thought oh this is good I can make these on game days. I used my panini maker and will definately make again. Highly recommended. More than 5 stars imo :)
Made for karen's cookathon. We are rooting for you karen. *hugs*

Very good and easy. I ended up using cheddar cheese b/c I didn't realize we were out of "white" cheese... I left the pesto off hubby's, but I thought it was a great combination. Thanks.

I don't usually like pesto , so wouldn't have ever tried this recipe....man have I been missing out. This is really good sandwich, and it does rate five stars. Simple nice recipe, and I did have it with tomato suace on the side.

Nice twist on a sandwich! I had some leftover grilled, sliced flank steak that I used & got a chance to taste my first ever home made pesto! Thanks for sharing this!

These were so good! Grilled whatever-and-cheese type sandwiches are one of my favorite comfort foods, and this was a great variation on that theme. Next time, I think I'll make them with some sauteed mushrooms as well (just sounds good to me). Thanks for posting!

Yum-these were very good! The pesto really makes this sandwich. I made 2 sandwiches, but used a total of 1/2 pound roast beef. I also added some sliced tomatoes, because I had them and they needed to be used up.

I tagged this for Zaar tag because I was looking for quick lunch recipes. This is very good, and super fast! I used shredded mozzarella, but otherwise followed the recipe and grilled on my George Foreman. We will be making this again. Thanks!
