Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip

"Found this in a magazine years ago and it is the best blue cheese dressing I have ever had. Made as is it is very thick which I like as a salad dressing but it is also perfect as a dip for veggies, pretzels etc. You can add more milk or water to make it thinner."

  1. This made the best blue cheese dressing I have ever had. It was very easy to make. I used low fat ingredients, and I'm sure it didn't hurt the taste any. Thank you for this recipe. I will make it often.

  2. I am a cheese addict, for years I have made and searched for a Blue Cheese Dressing I really like.Well now I have found IT!!I made it using the food processor, used Gorgonzola and the result was a thick creamy dressing with, what I consider, the right balance of flavor.I teamed this up with two other Zaar recipes:TGI Friday's Style Wings recipe #41886 and Yummy Potato Skins recipe #43908 and can fully recommend this combination to you. A tip for people who will also make this using the food processor, make sure you have some cellery sticks nearby to clean out the bowl!!!!

  3. Such a simple recipe and so delicious! I'm from the UK and since travelling the US have always been on the lookout for a great blue cheese dip/dressing recipe as we don't find it as much over here. I made this as a dip for spicy wings and will keep repeating it for sure - thanks!

  4. Great dip on endive and crusty bread. I also add L& P worcestershire sauce and fresh ground black pepper for some extra zip.

  5. I decided to make a huge batch of wings for a party I cooked for tonight. Obviously I needed to choose a Blue Cheese dip recipe to go with them. This one is perfect! I'd never had it before but I'm hooked now, and everybody seemed to really enjoy it. Thanks so much for sharing!
