What a great afternoon snack this was while watching the football games. I made 1/4 of the recipe for DH and I and did add some browned hamburger/onion mixture and used a medium salsa, but next time would use a hot salsa. We normally keep the medium on hand but with the cream cheese, beer, monterey and american cheeses to mellow some of the heat, I think we could tolerate the hot salsa! Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for 123 Tag Game.

Yum, Yum, Yum....what a cheesy tasting dip this is. I followed your recipe as written and actually doubled the amounts as DH is HUNGRY. I also added in a bit of sliced up pepperoni and pre-cooked bacon. He likes his meat too:-) Great tasting all around. The beer adds just the right amount of zip!~ Made for Phototag.

First of all...Congratulations on your 2012 Week 10 Football Pool win!!! I was craving something other than the "normal" Christmas Eve food so I made some of this to serve with tortilla chips. This really a lot better than the normal Velvetta/Rotel dip that I usually make for parties.
I think this will be my new replacement for that old dip.....it is very good and super easy to make.
Thanks Loof and congratulations again on your win!!!
