Cranberry Pizza Appetizer

  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 (8 ounce) package brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 34 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 12 cup pecans, chopped

directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fm then lightly grease a 12" pizza pan.
  • Unroll dough & separate into triangles, placing them on prepared pizza pan with tips toward center.
  • Press out dough with hands, connecting all the edges that are close together.
  • Bake about 6 minutes or until light golden brown, then remove from oven.
  • Sprinkle with cheese & spoon cranberry evenly over cheese, before sprinkling entire 'pizza' with pecans.
  • Return to oven & bake until cheese is melted & crust is golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  • Remove from oven & cool slightly, before cutting into wedges.
  • Any leftovers should be refrigerated.

  1. Syd, These are FABULOUS. Made recipe as posted. Never would thought of this combo here, but it went over like gangbusters, with no leftovers. Loved the idea of brie cheese here. Have to try again. one day. Made for PRMR tag.
     
  2. Wow, these were good! I ran out of brie so I made a batch with edam and gouda, and it turned out tasty too.
