I've made many "oven fries" but the crunch of these outshone the others. I cooked them in the BBQ (too hot for the oven) and managed to overdo (burn) some of them and this just added to the taste! Thanks again Dancer^.

I made these for our granddaughter's birthday party - the whole family loved them! Very crispy! Have made them twice this past week.

The flavour of these was a definate 5 star but I had a little trouble making the crumbs stick to the potato. Which didn't matter too much because what did stick was quite delicious and crunchy. thanks for posting I will try them again.

Excellent!! The potatoes were gone before the rest of the meal was ready. Made with very fine crushed rice krispies, and it made them extra crunchy! Will make again and again!

Excellant recipe! I made the chili version, and also added a touch of habernero pepper powder to really spice it up. These will definately be made again.

I've been disappointed by many oven fries recipes because they often turn out soggy. These are truly crunchy! I made the Italian version, but I also added some garlic powder. I also added more salt to taste. I think you could add just about any seasoning imaginable. These are great, and we will make them often. Thanks for the recipe!

Outstanding fries. I made the Italian version and will try the chili next time. I used panko rather than cornflake crumbs just because that's what I had on hand. I imagine the cornflakes would produce a more golden brown color but the panko was marvelously light in texture. Definitely one of the best oven fries I've ever tried. Great recipe, Dancer.
