This was great! My 4 year old had two helpings and asked for thirds!!! I put into a 9x13 pan and used mini-ziti pasta. Also used shredded mozzarella, as it is what I had on hand (and more than a cup because we are cheese-a-holics).

This was so quick, easy and inexpensive. My whole family loved it! I added some cooked spinach to the pasta mixture and it was a wonderful addition - especially with the nutmeg in the sauce. I too used the Bertoli marinara, and I definitely think using a good quality pasta sauce is a must with this dish. The only thing I would do differently next time is heat up the sauce before adding it, as the dish wasn't quite hot enough for us after it came out of the broiler. Otherwise the flavor was perfect and it will definitely become a weeknight favorite!!!!!!

Awesome! I have nothing to say except good things about this recipe! So easy to make, so fast to put together, and so absolutely delicious! I can see myself making this one of my new standbys. Thanks for posting!

I love pasta with a bechamel sauce (I'm not fond of ricotta cheese) so this is a great way to get the creamy cheese flavor without adding ricotta. I added a mixture of italian sausage and ground beef. Superb!

This was great! The only thing I did different was that I used spaghetti sauce and spiral noodles and it turned out wonderful. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing!

I think I used too little pasta, or made too much sauce. It ended up a little too wet for my taste, but I think the recipe's still good if you buy a good marinara sauce :)

This was a first rate pasta dish, definitely fit for company. I used large can of Redpack tomato sauce (doctored with dried parsly, onion powder, and oregano). I made in advance so heated in microwave (I was going to add the sliced mozz., but it looked so great the way it was, so we ate it without.) I love the two sauces that aren't combined together. The white sauce looked so creamy on top. The whole family enjoyed it, too. Roxygirl

I too saw this on 30-minute meals and it was fantastic! I made followed the recipe exactly as it was shown on TV, usng canned tomatoes, garlic and fresh basil for the sauce. It was terrific! I even made the artichoke heart and spinach salad that went with it. All in under 30 minutes!
