This was so very good! I have tried several white lasagna recipes, but this one is my favorite. I used low cal alfredo, egg beaters, 1/2 the cheese & whole grain noodles in my attempt to make it more waist-friendly & I added mushrooms. It was still absolutely rich & tasty!!

We enjoyed this rich lasagna for dinner last night. I loved it and would give it 5 stars, but I am only giving it 4 stars because my husband was not a big fan. For him, it was too rich and a bit overwhelming. Based on the richness, I would suggest serving it in smaller portion sizes. Also, my lasagna noodles did not soften until about 1 hr. and 30 minutes of baking time. Photo posted.

This recipe will make you a legend in your own time. It is absolutely divine. The assembly is labor intensive but no noodles to precook and once it is assembled - it can go into the oven at any time.
I plan to make ahead and freeze the week before Thanksgiving to serve to my son and his family before they leave to return to the Carolinas.
