Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

"I made these as an appetizer for the kids at my son's 9th birthday party. A little greasy for my taste, but the kids devoured the entire thing."

  1. This is good for party snacks or a meal as you mentioned. It is like my basic stromboli recipe. I used to use frozen dough but I can't find it since I moved. Sometimes I replace the meats here with sausage and peppers. If the end result is too greasy for you, heat the salami and pepperoni in the microwave for a few seconds and then squeeze it in a paper towel before layering on the pizza dough. The taste will be the same, minus the grease.

  2. What a great treat for the children and their parents! Followed the recipe but as stated in another review, I warmed the salami and pepperoni in the microware (on paper towels). This seemed to remove quite a bit of the fat before baking. Thank you for this fun recipe.

  3. I made adding some pizza sauce in with the meat and cheese. They were gobbled up in no time, and my grandchildren thought they were great! Thank you!

  4. Loved it.

  5. I have to confess that I made these TWICE this week. Yes, they are that good and EASY. My children loved them, and my husband and I were racing each other to get to the last one. I didn't find it too greasy, either.
