ingredients

  • 6 white flour tortillas (low carb okay, cardboard texture best, additive-enhanced)
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 (6 ounce) jar Pace Picante Sauce (mild, cuz Idahoans can't tolerate spicy)

directions

  • Arrange one flour tortilla on Corning Ware dinner plate (the brown and orange one with the wheat design circa 1971).
  • Grate a significant amount (1 cup?) of Velveeta onto the tortilla.
  • Nuke about 60 seconds or until Velveeta starts to bubble and get "crispy" around the edges.
  • In the meantime, write some poetry -- Your sandy hair floats in the air -- To me it's like a lullaby -- I'm just flying by -- Oh so high -- like a kite -- tied to a skate --.
  • Next, spoon on some Pace Piquante (puh-connie) sauce if desired. Repeat process five more times.
  • Peace out.

  1. This is great...but don't burn your mouth! Mine were too hot...and now my lips hurt real bad. :)

  2. This recipe is flippin' sweet! I make it every time my grandma goes out of town, but I don't share it with Tina-the fat lard!

  3. Kip hasn't done a flippin' thing today except chat online with hot babes and snack on these! LUCKY.

  4. I've been doing this for years. My parents would make fresh flour tortillas when we had burritos or chili. The leftover tortillas were often mixed with whatever cheese and salsa or burrito/enchilada sauce was leftover from the previous meal. Great snack as well as quick meal.

  5. Okay, so I didn't make this, but it is really freaking funny! If only we had the recipe for Pedro's cake...
