As you can see they don't come any easier than this and most cooks have all the ingredients in their pantry or refrigerator at all times. I call it Melissa's Chicken Dip because I got it from my friend, Melissa. I don't really know the proper name. The best thing about this recipe is that it can be changed around and made into a chicken cheese ball by cutting the sour cream or mayo in half, refrigerating until set and formed into a ball and rolled in finely ground pecans, paprika, crushed red peppers, etc. Anytime I take this to an occasion, I end up having to repeat the recipe several times. The cook time listed is the time for refrigeration.
- Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate overnight.
