I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! I have now made this about 4 or 5 times - it's just plain WONDERFUL. If you like Blue (or Bleu) Cheese Dressing, this one is the Bomb! I have put it on salads, on wedges of lettuce with hard boiled eggs (just like the Morton's Salad), and have dipped plenty of chicken wings into it. You cannot go wrong with this one - I made it exactly as written. Thanks, AshK!

I made 1/4 of a recipe because I am the only one in the family that eats bc dressing. Loved it! I am glad no one else eats it!! Thanks for posting.

This really is an excellent blue cheese dressing. I agree that it makes more than the stated number of servings, but it's so good you just want to heap it on your salad.

Icelanders usually eat salads undressed which I do not enjoy & blue cheese dressing is the only dressing DH truly likes. I often make a dressing for myself, but tagged this yesterday knowing we were having a soup & salad dinner tonite. I went to my kitchen & made a half recipe in min to allow for overnite refrigeration. An immediate taste test seemed to show the mayo as the main flavor, but I just tasted it again at 20 hrs of the chill time. The passage of time dims memories, but right now I cannot recall having had a better blue cheese dressing! This is yummy beyond words, now rich w/the blue cheese flavor & I esp like the chunky texture vs those whizzed to a liquid. My only issue w/this recipe is the yield. The volume of ingredients is 4.8 cups & my half recipe supports this. If you assume 1/3 cup per serving (a lrg amt by any std), this recipe serves 15 blue cheese lovers very generously & the nutritional data will be more realistic when available. All that said, I cannot bring myself to give this recipe any less than 5* since it deserves that & more. Thx for sharing this keeper recipe w/us.
