Rosemary's Mini Quiches

"Great for entertaining as they can be made in advance, refrigerated for a few days and re-heat really well. Also fabulous for hiding vegies in to give to the kids, they just love them. The "flavour" (Onion, Bacon) ingredients can be substituted for just about anything. (eg. Tomato and Spinach or Salmon and Chives) and My Sewing teacher gave me this recipe a year ago, I use it all the time."

  1. Made this for an appetizer when we had drop in company and they are so good and so adaptable to what ever you like in them. I added pancetta, parmesan, red pepper for color and jalapeno. Yum. Another nice feature is how well the freeze so you can have them ready whenever company stops in

  2. These are really lovely. My 3yo had so much fun making them and they taste great. Although next time I think I'll have to make a double batch! These would be great little appetisers for a party!

  3. I made these for a Sunday brunch and they were a big hit! Super easy to make, I made them the night before and just popped them in the oven to re-heat in the morning. You could use your imagination and make many different varieties of this recipe.

  5. DELICIOUS! These didn't even last a whole day! Mainly because my hubby didn't realise real men don't eat quiche - he loved them! I made sure those eggs got a stern talking to! Hehe. I used dried parsley because I didn't have any fresh but it worked fine. I didn't dice the bacon small enough either so I'll remember to do that next time - darn my impatience! I really enjoyed these - this recipe is definitely a keeper for me. Thanks Jess :)

Hi, I'm a Sydney girl through and through. I have lived here most of my life, one year spent in Perth W.A. After meeting my husband on a Holiday in Bali. Who says holiday romances don't work out! I am an "at home Mum" Thats my job! Love it too. My favorite cookbook is La Rousse, I love to research ingredients, find their origin, explore traditional methods of food prep and cooking and incorperate it all into my cooking. History fascinates me be it in food, architecture, furniture, family, whatever. Right now we are restoring our home, I also do Leadlighting and Heirloom sewing. My pet peeve is when people don't smile back!
