Excellent Taco Salad. I didn't have any ranch style beans so just left them out and cut the recipe down for 1. I mixed the salsa and sour cream together to make a nice dressing. Served this with a few Nacho Cheese Doritos. Very tasty. Thanks for sharing.

Tasty, easy, quick. I added the onion in while sauteeing the meat, and I added a small can of tomato sauce with the taco seasoning (as per Tacos - I love the tomato sauce consistency & extra vitamins). I also added the beans in with the seasonings, to heat them up. I layered the salads on our plates instead of mixing -- lettuce, then meat/beans, then cheese, then tomatoes, then salsa & guacamole.

Thanks for the great idea! I guess I always knew how to put this together but never thought of making it for dinner! I added a can of black beans to the ground beef when I added the taco seasoning. I omitted the onion, but added sliced black olives. I made 4 individual plates, with lettuce on the bottom, followed by beef/beans and other toppings. I served tortilla chips on the side of each plate for scooping up the toppings remaining at the end.

DELICIOUS! I added onion & red kidney beans to the mince & I also used ~*Pamela*~in Winnipeg's idea of making the taco bowl. Filled the taco bowls with the mince mixture, topped with cheese, homemade salsa, shredded lettuce, guacamole & sour cream. Easy to make & very filling. Thanks for posting, will be making again soon.

Really good! Added some corn to the bean mixture, and onions and a dash of red wine to the meat mixture. Will do this again soon.

I had everything on hand and this was so easy to throw together. I used kidney beans instead of the ranch beans as I had never heard of them. I made taco salad bowls using How to Make Baked Taco Salad Shell Bowls and everyone got to make their own individual salads using all of the toppings. Thanks for posting!
